Celebrating Excellence at TYT: Students Shine in “Student of the Year Awards”

We are thrilled to announce that two of our Form 5 students have gained remarkable recognition in the Student of the Year Awards 2023-24, hosted by the South China Morning Post.

Wong Wang Chi, a dedicated and talented Form 5 student, has been shortlisted for the Grand Prize, which honors the top all-round student excelling in various fields and inspiring positive change. This prestigious nomination is a testament to Wang Chi's exceptional achievements and contributions, marking a significant milestone for both the student and our school, as it is the first time TYT has had a student shortlisted in this category.

In parallel, Tang Chi Chung, another Form 5 student with exemplary performance, has been shortlisted in the Scientist & Mathematician category, which recognizes exceptional talent in science and mathematics. This category requires a high standard of success in a relevant subject over the past year and the ability to empower others in the community. Chi Chung's outstanding skills and passion for the science and mathematics have brought pride to our school as the first-ever TYT student to be honored in this category.

The amazing results not only recognize the talents and hard work of TYTCians but also underscore the supportive and nurturing environment of TYT that fosters such excellence. We are incredibly proud of Wong Wang Chi and Tang Chi Chung for their outstanding achievements and contributions to our school's legacy of excellence.
