Title: Animals being Trapped
Medium: Fashion Design
Artist Statement: From the front part of the dress, there are fur and leather from different animals and combined with the original faces of each animal. Besides, the top of the dress are blood and forest, to illustrate that animals are killed by human in order to earn money. It shows how cruel humans are which strangling animals’ freedom of living.

Artist Statement: These two people are illustrating my feeling. The left one is feeling sad which is controlled by others and lost freedom, lost my mind in studying. The right one is showing that I am getting stronger to escape from the cage and get the freedom again.

This artwork is about food problem. We always eat food which contain a lot of chemicals such as artificial and preservatives. However, many people only focus on the beautiful appearances of the food, not it’s original value. Therefore, I would like to rise the people awareness on this issue through the horrible thread doll and the organs.

Artist Statement: This artwork is about the trend of undergo cosmetic surgery around the world. People undergo cosmetic surgery may want to increase their competitiveness and self-confidence. But is it really reliable to build them through your appearance? I hope that people can think more about this. Our appearance just like clay which will break easily. You want to keep undergo cosmetic surgery with a vicious cycle or you choose to focus on your inner beauty and find the real beauty?

Artist Statement:
This artwork is about memories. They are the beautiful things which play an important role in our life and therefore they are worth to record. We build them up through time by ourselves step by step. The photos were printed and nails were nailed by me one by one. Each step seems not so important but they mix together and become a beautiful artwork. All memories are unique and we should be cherish.

Artist Statement: This artwork is about how Hong Kong people and other people who come from other counties to look upon Hong Kong. Many people may love to watch the good night view in Hong Kong and think it is beautiful and prefect. However, there are many problems such as screen effect and the light pollution which are many people ignored. Would you like to see the LED light to replace the real star and the natural of beautiful?

Artist Statement: This is my third artwork, which is related to school. In my school life, I’ve met a lot of friends. They have different characters but most of them have the same interest - sharing photos, snaps on internet. However, sometimes they think the jokes are fun, it hurts people and causes bullying. Therefore, I try to design a poster to promote the ‘Stop Bullying’ message.

Artist Statement: In my childhood, I have moved from Yau Oi to Glorious Garden in Tuen Mun. In the past, my neighbors in Yau Oi are very nice and always chat with me. Moreover, my mother always stays with me and brings me to the park nearby. These daily activities gave me a great, unforgettable childhood that I want to keep it in my diary. Therefore, my second is made to appreciate the place I live, the people I met and my dearest mother.

Title: Trapped

Artist Statement: People are used to wear a mask or using a lie to communicate with their friends, classmates or parents. All of us know that it is wrong, but who of us will make a change to improve this problem? I think the answer is no. In this artwork, I used the statue of a wolf which wearing a sheep clothe to be the main object of this artwork. It exactly show that people wearing a mask to face each other. Moreover, people can’t redo the things they did. Just like trapped by the situation.

Artist Statement: The human activities become more and more serious nowadays. People always throw the waste to the ocean. It caused that most of the ocean is polluted. However, the truth is always hidden by some people. We can only see the good side of the environment by the TV show or magazines. Therefore, many people don’t know the true situation of the environment. SO, I draw this series of painting to show the real face of the environment and notice people to protect it and stop polluting it.

Artist Statement: Friendship is a thing that easy to be broken. Some people may pretend that they are good and nice to make friend with you. However, they don’t really want to be your friends. They may just want your money, reputation. Therefore, the relationship always cannot keep for a long time. When you are in danger, they may leave you alone or even trade you. So, I want to use this artwork to show that problem, to tell that don’t trust the others easily.
