Chiu Man-ho won the ‘Student of the Year 2018’ (SCMP)

Our Form 6 student Chui Man-Ho has won the ‘Best Devotion to School’ Award in the 38th‘Student of the Year’ organized by the South China Morning Post and sponsored by the Hong Kong Jockey Club. With the support of the Education Bureau, the award is one of the best ways to acknowledge the achievement of outstanding TYTcians.

The ‘Student of the Year’ has long been hailed as Hong Kong’s most prestigious secondary school event, of which the prime objective is to shine a spotlight on the talents and achievements of secondary school students in Hong Kong. The ‘Best Devotion to School’ goes to students who not only excel on a personal level, but whose involvement in and contribution to school activities have also helped others reach new heights.

Chiu Man-ho has been awarded a Plague, a certificate and a scholarship of HK$5,000, along with four other finalists in Hong Kong. His service to TYT has been strongly appreciated by our staff. He has gained deep respect from TYTcians as he has shown a high degree of diligence, commitment and dedication in his endeavours.
