Outstanding Achievement by Lee Sum Yi (5A) and Li Luo Tong (5B)
We are proud to announce that two of our exemplary students, Lee Sum Yi Sammi (5A) and Li Luo Tong Sonia (5B), have achieved remarkable success in the prestigious Access Abroad Hong Kong Essay Competition.
This esteemed competition, co-organised by Access Abroad Hong Kong, Christ’s College, University of Cambridge, and Cathay, attracted a highly competitive pool of applicants from across all districts in Hong Kong. Through a rigorous selection process, both students distinguished themselves with their exceptional essay submissions and outstanding performances in the subsequent interviews. Their intellectual acumen, eloquence, and depth of thought were highly commended by the adjudicators.
In recognition of their outstanding accomplishments, Sum Yi and Luo Tong were awarded a fully sponsored, all-expenses-paid academic and cultural tour to the United Kingdom, which took place from 6th to 14th July. During this enriching week, they had the opportunity to explore the historic and cultural landmarks of London and to experience academic life at the University of Cambridge, one of the world’s most prestigious institutions of higher learning. This immersive programme provided them with invaluable exposure to global perspectives and academic excellence, serving as a source of inspiration for their future endeavours both within and beyond the classroom.
On behalf of the entire school community, we extend our warmest congratulations to both Lee Sum Yi and Li Luo Tong.
