Hitting All The Right Notes – TYT Musician Wins Big

We are delighted to announce that our student, Lam Ka Kin (4A), has earned four prestigious music awards from local and international competitions in 2023. This accomplishment is a testament to his exceptional talent and hard work.

1.     The Winner with Gold Award from 2023 International Youth Talent Musician Competition organized by Hong Kong International Music Culture Association

2.     The Champion of the Diploma Open Classes from the 16th Asia Pacific Outstanding Youth Piano competition 2023

3.     Gold Prize Winner of Young artist (age 15 & under) from London Young Musician 2022-23 Season 4 organized by London Young Musician (LYM).

4.     1st Runner up of the Diploma Piano Open Class from Hong Kong Music Talent & Performance Award 2022 organized by My Music Academy
 

Studied piano performance at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts Junior Programme under the guidance of renowned pianist Ms. Yim Wan, Lam Ka Kin is a gifted musician. In 2022, he earned a distinction in the LTCL diploma in piano performance and a distinction in grade 8 music theory.

In addition to his performing skills, Lam Ka Kin is also an accomplished composer and arranger, immersing himself in the creative process of music-making. We are proud to have him as a student and look forward to seeing him achieve even greater success in the future.
