Programmed to win: TYT Robotics Team Clinches First Prize in the 2023 ROBOFEST World Championship in U.S.A

 

In November 2022 and March 2023, our two Robotics Teams won the championships in ‘RoboParade’ and ‘GAME’ robotic competitions in Hong Kong 2023 ROBOFEST (Season 1 and 2). Following this stellar performance, both teams were invited to represent Hong Kong in the 2023 ROBOFEST World Championship held by the Lawrence Technology University in Detroit, U.S.A.

On the day of the competition on 13th May, the junior robotics team brought further glory to TYT by clinching the First Prize in ‘RoboParade’ due to their consistent performance and outstanding presentation.  

ROBOFEST, hosted by Lawrence Technological University in Southfield, MI, is a festival of competitions and events with autonomous robots that encourages students to have fun while learning principles of STEAM and Computer Science including AI. Students design, construct, and program the robots. Any robotics kits are allowed in the construction of robots. Robots can be programmed with any programming language. ROBOFEST programs support Computer Science for All.

Little Robots, Big Missions
